I have always been a huge Jennifer Lopez fan! I must admit, when I was in college, everyone knew in the class that this "geek" type of me can go crazy over Miss J! I even recommended the track "If you had my love" to be the intro dance for our College dance contest, studying every night the moves from one of her live appearances complied in her then released vcd, which I was so proud to have. "wink" Portrait: Jennifer Lopez But that was years ago... I am little tamed now, haha! But I still love her...which I guess will make me now glue to the latest season of American Idol. Way to go Judge J.Lo! What about you, have you drawn a portrait of your favorite artist?

Mom has always been fascinated with growing different kinds of orchids in our garden. I may not have a green thumb, but I can definitely appreciate the " art of greens ". Garden Orchids, oil on canvas I tend to take pictures of orchids especially those that are in full bloom. From those photos, I try to give birth to another piece of art by painting them. I painted the orchid above with the help of a picture I've taken way back. Just after the sun sets, I saw the striking blue skies just behind a newly bloomed orchid, "This needs to be captured", I thought.

Golden Landscape One of the last few landscape paintings I did. Using my watercolor set, this landscape was brought into life using touches of golden hues.

I once owned a beautiful orchid display. It is placed in a cute pot - yes, it's artificial but I like the good vibes it gives. Nothing fancy, just a simple plastic orchid that inspired me to sketch and paint, still life. orchid in charcoal orchid in poster paint

This is a sketch I made way back highschool. It's the same technique I used in drawing my ghostfighter sketches . Kenshin of Samurai X I drew this using just an old Pilot sign pen and I love the outcome, one of my first tried and tested technique in doing graphic sketches.

Lake Sebu in Charcoal There is something awe-inspiring about Lake Sebu that I never get tired of visiting this serene tourist spot over and over again. This particular charcoal drawing is inspired from Balben Family Cove's floating kubo built in 1990s.

Ghost Fighter is probably the very first anime to get hold of loyal viewers in the Philippines. I could still vividly remember back in1995 when me and my brothers would excitedly anticipate the next fight of Eugene, Alfred, Dennis and Vincent in the spirit world. If my memory serves me well, Ghost Fighter made its very first pilot airing in the Philippines at IBC 13. Back then, only a few took notice of it.
